The rooms are small but updated and stylish, with modern amenities. Our room had a porch with an outdoor hot tub. About Plitvice Lakes National Park

One of Croatia’s largest and most famous national parks, a UNESCO World Heritage member. There are 16 naturally turquoise lakes each adorning a waterfall leading to the next. It is relatively easy to venture around the park due to the man-made pathways. I would categorize this adventure as a nature walk instead of a hike. If you do not want to walk the entire route which takes 5-7 hours total, then you can use the water ferries or the bus system to get around. Feel free to bring your own snacks and lunch or stop at the many rest points with concessions.
