Plan a trip to Spain & France using this free, ready-to-go itinerary! One of our most memorable trips, hands down. And added fun because we traveled with my sister and her husband!
Barcelona is grand! The city is bustling with shops, markets and entertainment. The restaurants are filled with amazingly fresh seafood, mouth-watering tapas and plenty of tempranillo wine. Venture towards the port to spend the day on the beach or on a boat. Even a short distance outside the city offers beautiful countryside wineries. We were able to experience all of the above in four days, and you can too!
A quick flight to Southern France offers a change in scenery. Nice and Cannes are beachy, upscale towns, where the fashion is fun and the rosé is flowing. It truly has the most fantastic mix of Spanish, French and Italian inspired cuisine. Venturing into Provence you’ll find gorgeous and historic chateaus surrounded by vineyards and quaint towns. Absolutely one of the most wonderful places I’ve visited!
My itineraries are made with a focus on doing, eating & drinking, which leads to seeing! Make plans easier. The editable templates allow you to add in your own personality, interests and adventures. Or simply download the PDF for a ready to go version. Enjoy!
Notes for consideration:
- Do not book travel plans earlier than 11am, if you can help it, because you’ll be most likely falling asleep at 11pm-1am due to jetlag
- In some European countries, particularly Spain, many restaurants and stores shut down around 3pm and reopen between 5pm-7pm. Not everything shuts down but be aware
- Restaurants open for dinner around 7pm at the earliest; 8pm is usually a safe bet
