Plan a trip to Cape Cod using this free, ready-to-go itinerary! Beach vacation at its finest! We had the most relaxing, no major plans trip. No shoes, no shirts, no problem. Cape Cod was filled with beach days, lobster rolls and clam bakes. Cocktails were made with breakfast and served next to the nighttime bonfire. A true, “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere” kinda trip. And perfect for our family of “Buzzin Cuzzins”.

We wanted to rent a big summer house centrally located for the majority of us. My cousins live across 6 states with one in London, so getting all together is not as frequent as we’d like. Cape Cod was the winning location, which provided us with football games on the sand and dancing along to a live band. (I did not plan that to rhyme but it did so I left it! It also took me six tries to spell rhyme correctly.) Anyways!… Massively successful trip and highly recommend grabbing all your buddies and heading to the East Coast.

Notes for consideration:

  • This is a total beach vacation; nothing fancy. So bring your bathing suits, cover ups, athleisure and casual dinner clothes.
  • Go grocery shopping or order a grocery delivery when you arrive so your beach house is fully stocked with food and booze for the weekend.
  • Cape Cod is well known for shark attacks. I am terrified of sharks, so I was not entering the ocean more than a few feet. Be smart and stay safe.
  • A car was helpful to get around, but ride share services are available, if needed.
  • Eat the seafood. All day every day. It is so fresh and delicious.
