Coffee to Cork is here to inspire taking trips without the burden of the complete unknown. From your morning coffee to your evening glass of wine, I’ve got you covered! Whether you are a planner or spontaneous traveler, you can find peace in having recommendations available to you in an organized fashion. By organized, I’m referring to how I order events by location, in a manner that is travel efficient, with realistic expectations for how long activities, sightseeing and meals last. I pride myself on the extensive thought that goes into each itinerary to help make trips more effective and enjoyable!
As you may have gathered, I have a desire to plan anything and everything. For my home city of Chicago or an International trip, you better believe I am researching, experiencing and recording. You will see a bit of personal touch within the titles, descriptions and reviews. These itineraries have been made from trips accompanied by friends, family and my fiancé, Matt. You may even notice some of the trip titles highlight important milestones in mine and Matt’s lives. He is my main travel companion and my biggest supporter. Although I am not a travel agent, for years, my itineraries have been distributed to friends and families to enhance their trips. Why not share something I love with other eager travelers?
My itineraries are made with a focus on doing, eating & drinking, which leads to seeing! Make plans easier — the editable excel templates allow you to add in your own personality, interests and adventures. Or simply download the PDF for a ready to go version. Enjoy! I am eager to hear from you!
Yes, I have experienced everything in my itineraries, unless otherwise noted. For example, you’ll notice in the Chicago itineraries I point out that since I live here, I normally do not stay at home rentals or hotels. In this case, I indicate that I am suggesting options to stay based on high ratings from word of mouth and search engines.
I am not. My itineraries and posts are created through online research, word of mouth and stumbling upon amazing experiences. If this ever changes, I will absolutely make it clear which items were experienced through a sponsorship vs. which were natural finds.
I don’t! The itineraries follow what I’ve experienced and I cannot change my experiences. Knowing this, it is always smart to check that places are still in business, open and close times and prices, as all of these items could have changed since I went. You can also see the date the itinerary was posted, and this can give a good indicator whether you should do a little research or not.
Download the Microsoft Excel application through the App Store. Once complete, try to download the itinerary again. Once you click on the “Download Excel” button on the website, an arrow facing down may pop up on the top right hand side of your search bar. Click that and select “download”.
Click “download” instead of “view”.
